Rock pooling
Exploring the rock pools at Westward Ho! offers an ideal way to spark children's interest in the natural world. Easily accessible pools, near the seawater swimming pool on the promenade, brim with a variety of creatures, making for an engaging family day out.
The Rock Sea Pool
A historic, man-made tidal pool that fills with fresh Atlantic seawater at high tide. Refurbished in 2015, it offers a free swimming spot with picturesque views along the rugged North Devon coast.
Carousel Amusements
A beachfront family entertainment centre offering arcade machines, skill games, ticket-redemption prizes and a bowling alley perfect for kids and families.
Ho!Barts Amusements
Traditional seaside fun with a mix of classic penny pushers, modern slot machines, air hockey, and skill games.

The Big Sheep
An all-weather family farm and theme park. It features Devon's largest rollercoaster, farm animal encounters, live shows like the "world-famous" sheep race, indoor play areas, and various outdoor activities and rides.
Pebble Ridge Adventure Golf & Go Karts
Featuring an 18-hole, pirate-themed adventure golf course and a circuit for go-karts, including both solo and two-seater options. Located near the beach and also offering a food court with a variety of dining options.
The Ultimate Adventure Centre
Set on a 38-acre site it offers high ropes, climbing walls, archery, mountain boarding, kayaking, paddleboarding and a total wipeout-inspired aqua assault course.
The Milky Way Adventure Park
An award-winning family attraction offering a mix of indoor and outdoor fun. It features rollercoasters, indoor play area, live shows and a birds of prey center. All main rides and shows are included in the ticket price.
North Devon Wake Park
A picturesque lakeside sports facility offering an inflatable Aquapark obstacle course, wakeboarding, Ringo rides, and paddleboarding. Featuring an on-site café and covered seating areas.
